And soon, all school applicants will have to have a National Identification Number, the people in charge of the exams told BBC Pidgin.
The West Africa test Council (WAEC) has announced that the external test will begin on August 16, 2021.
WAEC also release di timetable for di test.
According to the Final International Timetable, the 2021 WASSCE will be held all over the sub-region from Monday, August 16, to Friday, October 8, 2021.
But the test for Nigeria will end on September 30, 2021, which means it will be put on hold for seven weeks.

WAEC 2021 Examination Candidates breakdown
One million, five hundred seventy-three thousand, seven hundred eighty-nine (1,573,789) people were expected to take the test.
I want to know what's in the WAEC statement that BBC Pidgin can use.
There are 792,620 men (50.36%) and 781,169 women (49.64%) in the Di number.
Di examination body also said that candidates would be tested on 197 papers in 76 different topics.
There are 19,425 recognized secondary schools that take the test.
There are 8,052 public schools and 11,373 private schools from all 36 states that are on the list.
About 25,000 top teachers were chosen to be in charge of the exam.
How will the 2021 WASSCE be set up?
This year, the West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination will be different because of government policy and the CovD19 outbreak.
From now on, all candidates must sign up with the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), says WAEC.
And people who want to take the WASSCE test need to get a National Identification Number (NIN), which has become an important part of the registration process.
By next year, "disone mean say no NIN, no entry."
The test body says that it follows the Federal Government Policy, which is what the Federal Ministry of Education tells it to do.
To make sure there isn't a pandemic of COVID-19, WAEC says they will tell test staff to follow all COVID-19 rules.
All schools are not required to have hand sanitizers, buckets with running water, and soap or detergent at designated spots in all exam rooms.
Face masks must be worn by WAEC supervisors, candidates, invigilators, staff, and oda test workers.
Dem must also clean and wash their hands often as part of their jobs.
Schools also give out and use thermometer handguns on all applicants and people in charge of tests at the door to school grounds.
Both physical and social distances are kept.
WAEC also gives the same warning to so-called "Special" or "Miracle" centers, saying that no matter where they are, their built-in system to catch cheaters will find them.
