LASUED – Lagos State University of Education
I'm happy to welcome you to the website which will guide, the Lagos State University of Education (LASUED). Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (AOCOED) and Michael Otedola College of Primary Education (MOCPED) came together to make the great Ivory Tower.
The main site is in Oto/Ijanikin, and there is also one in Noforija, Epe. With the Lagos State University of Education's approval by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and recognition by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in February 2022, we have started accepting students into the 67 Take-Off programs in seven colleges, which are:
College of Science Education (COSED), College of Information and Technology Education (COITED), College of Vocational and Entrepreneurship Education (COVED), College of Management and Social Sciences Education (COMSSED), College of Specialized and Professional Education (COSPED), and College of Language and Communication Arts Education (COLCAED). With the help of these schools, you'll find your own path and know you won't be walking it alone.
Our Vision
To be a great and dynamic university that focuses on achieving excellence in producing exemplary professionals in education and other related fields who are not only good at what they do, but also good at thinking critically and using technology. These professionals will be able to play key roles in laying a solid foundation for lifelong teaching, and learning, and providing specialized services in all parts of the economy, with a special focus on education.

To create outstanding professionals in education and related fields who can work anywhere in the world. To do this, we will use relevant action research and the most advanced technology, as well as innovative and creative approaches, high moral standards, and values that will help them develop and change the education industry and society as a whole.
What We Believe
The University's mission is to train teachers and other professionals who can help students choose careers. This is done by giving students the practical knowledge and pedagogical skills they will need to work in the future, especially in the education industry but also in other parts of the economy.
