We are Moving2Canada, a group devoted to making it easier for members of our community to relocate to Canada. We are looking for a web developer who is eager to interact with our worldwide community and is passionate about their work. Candidates from all throughout Canada may apply for the role.

We are relaunching our website in 2022 as part of our celebration of 10 years of business success. With the new Moving2Canada, our community will be able to comprehend and create their own path to success in Canada, affordably and with confidence. It will give a dynamic, personalized user experience behind the login. The chosen applicant will be building and improving a broad range of features for this disruptive product in an industry in need of upheaval. Knowledge of PHP, Javascript, and React is required.
The hired applicant will be required to integrate quickly and contribute significantly to the creation of new products and the improvement of the company website.
Primary
duties:
Implementing new React functionality across three important projects.
1. Design to code translation
2. WordPress integration of React apps
3. GraphQL data management
4. MySQL Website metric optimization across devices
5. Updates to the styling and bug fixes when necessary
The chosen applicant will manage a compact development group that consists of an apprentice junior web developer. We need someone who views coaching and leading as a strength and an opportunity.
Qualifications:
1. WordPress and PHP experience of at least two years
2. Minimum of two years of React experience
3. Strong CSS/Sass proficiency
4. Extensive knowledge of JavaScript
5. Understanding of CSS/JS minification and Gulp
6. Having knowledge of ACF, Gravity Forms, and TablePress is a plus
An advantage is being familiar with Google Analytics, Ad Manager, and Search Console.
7. Salesforce experience is a plus
