This NGO Scholarship will be given to students with a strong academic background, leadership ability, and a clear desire to use their new knowledge to help improve society. After they finish their studies, Winners should use their skills and knowledge to make other people's lives better. Over time, the Foundation hopes that the people who get scholarships from them will come together to form a strong network of leaders who will work for the good of Abia State and Nigeria as a whole.

Eligibility

1. Students in Nigeria who are in their second year (200 Level) at any government-run college or university.


2. The candidate must have had at least a CGPA of 3.5 in his or her first year of school (First Year) at a university or its equal at another tertiary institution.


Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation

The Foundation, which cares a lot about education and health, had already announced, with the help of the Venezuelan Embassy in Abuja, that 50 college students would get scholarships to study medicine at the Latin American Medicine School in Venezuela.


Eligibility

1. Should be a college freshman who wants to get into the university in the 2023-2024 school year.


Should have done well on the West African Examination Council (WAEC) or National Examinations Council (NECO) tests. Biology, physics, and chemistry scores of "A" are a plus.

3. Must be a Nigerian person

4. Should be in charge of getting into any of the chosen colleges.  The Foundation pays for the JAMB and POST-UME (if it applies) and wants the student to send his admission letter to the Foundation when he is shortlisted by one of the universities.  The Foundation won't have any say in the process of who gets in.

5.The Foundation encourages students to do well in school, and it thinks that students with "A" grades in the three most important science classes will do well on the JAMB test and finish all seven years of medical school.

Bishop Oyedepo Scholarship


The DOF NGO grant is for students who have done well in school and want to get their first degree from Covenant University or Landmark University. Before they can apply for the scholarship, scholars must be African, live permanently in an African country, and meet the standards to get into any of the universities.

Eligibility

1. Are you a citizen of any African country and live there permanently?


2, You must be between the ages of 18 and 25 when you send in your application.


3. Are able to receive a Nigerian student visa


4. Know how to read, write, and talk English well


5. Have a record of doing well in high school.


 Jim Ovia Foundation Leaders Scholarship


The Jim Ovia Foundation Leaders Scholarship is a partnership between the Jim Ovia Foundation and the Africa-America Institute. It helps young Africans get the education they need to run the region. The Scholarship is a partnership between the Jim Ovia Foundation and the Africa-America Institute. Its goal is to train young Africans to run the continent.

Eligibility


1. Applicants must be citizens of an African country and live in Africa. 2. Applicants must have a good school record and a desire to do well.

3. Show that you need money;

4. Show a record of being a leader as a young person in his or her neighborhood.


MTN Foundation Scholarship


The MTN Scholarship Scheme is a yearly scholarship award that aims to recognize and reward high-performing students who have met the requirements. It includes the MTN Science and Technology Scholarship Scheme (MTN STSS) and the MTN Scholarship Scheme for Blind Students (MTN SSBS). Under the Youth Empowerment Cause, the Scholarships are in their ninth and seventh phases, respectively.

Eligibility


1. Third-year students at public universities with a GPA of 3.5 or the equal of a second-class upper

2. HND students who got a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 (Upper credit) in their OND program

3.For current students who have kept a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.5 or its equal (second class upper/upper credit), scholarships will be renewed.

3. Blind students in their second and third years of any subject who have a GPA of at least 2.5 or the equivalent are eligible to apply for the SBSS.

Guinness Nigeria Undergraduate Scholarship

This NGO scholarship shows that Guinness Nigeria is serious about putting in place programs that help young people grow and change.


For students currently studying in Nigerian universities and polytechnics, the scholarship will pay their entire tuition. We invite students from the places we host to apply.

Existing students who have kept a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 3.5 or its equal (second class upper/upper credit) will keep their scholarships.

Blind students in their second and third years of any field who have a minimum CCPA of 2.5 or its equivalent are eligible to apply for the SBSS.

Eligibility


1. Applications are open to students studying Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Laboratory Science, Microbiology, Bio-Chemistry, Marketing & Sales, Human Resources/Industrial & Labour Relations, and Accounting.

2. Applicants must be students in their first or second year at a university or polytechnic in Nigeria.


Scholarship from the WAAW Foundation

WAAW Foundation scholarships are given to students who can show they need the money and are full-time students in a STEM-related course at an African university. Winners will have to start a STEM Outreach Chapter at their college.

2. Currently accepted in a B.S. program for undergraduates.

3. Taking STEM-related classes at a university or college in Africa.

4. Proof that you need the money

5. Excellent Academic Record.

6. Leadership, giving, and community service that have been proven.

7. Younger than 32 years old.

8. Only first- and second-year students are qualified to apply. If they are studying a five-year course, students in their third year are also included.
