ND Entrance Requirements

1. All applicants must have taken the UTME; the cutoff score for all ND (full-time) candidates at Auchi Poly is 120.

2. Candidates must have at least 5 credit passes in one sitting or 6 credit passes in two sittings in WASCE, SSCE, NECO, GCE O'L, or NABTEB, including English Language and Mathematics.

3. The polytechnic must have been the candidate's first or second choice.

Below is the admission requirements for candidates seeking HND admission into the Polytechnic:

Candidates for any Higher National Diploma (HND) program must hold a Polytechnic National Diploma (ND) or a qualification equivalent from another institution with a program that has received NBTE accreditation. Candidates must hold a National Diploma Certificate in the subject area of the Higher National Diploma Level they choose to pursue.

Candidates must meet particular departmental requirements as well as five (5) or six (6) Ordinary Level credit passes in one sitting or two (2) sittings, with English and Mathematics being required in the WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB test.
