These grant awards are something that happens once a year. Those who are interested can apply once a year, which means that it happens every year.
You've probably heard of the Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) and the Nigeria Award Scholarship (NA), which are only for students in undergraduate and graduate school.
First, let's talk about the Bilateral Education Agreement. Depending on what you're interested in, here are some of the people who have benefited from it. Undergraduates will be able to continue their education in the following countries: Morocco, Russia, Hungary, Turkey, Cuba, Romania, Macedonia, Japan, Cuba, Tunisia, Serbia,
Those who have finished their college studies but want to keep learning can do so in the following countries: China, Hungary, Turkey, Serbia, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Russia (if you got your first degree there), and other places.
The Nigeria Award prize (NA) is another prize that only helps women. It is also called the Nigeria Award/ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Just like we said, this plan will only pay for girls or women who are getting their bachelor's degree or going to graduate school.
How to get a federal government scholarship and what you need to do to get one
You can now see that this article is about the two most interesting scholarships offered by the Federal Government. The article is split into two parts, which are:
Bilateral Education Agreement For the grant for first-year college students;
Students in their first year of college who want to apply for this scholarship must have at least five distinctions, which could be A's or B's, on their senior high school certificate. This difference should have something to do with the field of study they have chosen. Don't forget that you have to take math and English language.
2. The certificates you give should be less than three years old, which means they should have been issued no more than two years before the year you apply for the grant.
3. There is an age limit, and based on what they wrote, we could guess that it is between 18 and 20.
For the postgraduate scholarship;
1. Have you ever won a prize from a faraway country? If so, you should have worked in Nigeria for at least two years after getting your degree or certificate.
2. It's interesting to note that interested applicants should at least make sure they have the minimum requirement, which is a first degree with at least a second-class upper division.
3. You should have finished your NYSC service and have your discharge papers.
4. There should be evidence that their employers are ready to let them go.
5.It's easy to see that the countries on the list above don't speak English, so it makes sense that the best way for people to learn is for them to study a foreign language for a year.
Nigeria Award Scholarship (NA)
1. Undergraduates should be doing well in school. They should have a 4.0 on a 5.0-point scale and a 5.0 on a 7.0-point scale. Anything less than this is not good enough and will be turned down.
2. Only applicants who have been confirmed to be full-time students in their second year or higher will be chosen as winners. Don't apply if you only go to school part-time. Anyone who wants to get a Bachelor's Degree, Higher National Diploma, or National Certificate 3 can fill out an application. Do you want to become a Postgraduate? Please keep in mind that you must be a full-time student and have at least a second-class upper grade in your first degree.
Scholarships Benefit
1.If you get a scholarship through the Bilateral Education Agreement, you won't have to worry about housing. You won't have to spend a dime here, either because the Nigerian government will pay for your education and housing.
2. You shouldn't worry about health insurance, supplements, warm clothes, time off, study grants, or time off from work. All of these costs will be covered by the government of Nigeria. All you have to do is study.
3. Those who want to apply for the Nigeria Award (NA) Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) scholarship awards don't have to worry about tuition fees, housing, or their own maintenance income. The Nigerian Federal government will take care of all of this.
How long the scholarships will last
How long the scholarship lasts varies on a lot of things. First, the length of the grant will determine the host country and the students you can choose. Most ranges are between 4 and 9 years.
Application for the Scholarships
For the BEA, the countries that are taking part are supposed to send the Federal Scholarship Board some documents about the chosen candidates, such as;
Reports from doctors are needed.
1. You need a Police clearance license if it's important.
2. One copy of each of your original diplomas
3. The information page of your present passport
4. Here are the steps you need to take to get a NA/SDG award.
