JAMB Brochure 2023/2024 Free Download For All Courses
For medical courses (including medicine and surgery), mass communication, engineering, art courses, social sciences, law, etc., detailed instructions on how to complete the Direct Entry (DE) and Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) ONLINE Application Forms have been provided in this JAMB brochure. The leaflet will also direct you to the O'level requirements and JAMB subject combinations for your desired courses.
Before filling out the ONLINE Application Forms, candidates are urged to carefully study the directions and information supplied in the free pdf after downloading it.
A candidate must meet the age criteria set forth in the JAMB brochure, which states that they must be sixteen (16) years old or will be on the first of October in the year they are running for office.
Important Point to Note From JAMB Brochure
1. This brochure's suggestions and instructions will help candidates choose the best colleges and programs and correctly fill out the ONLINE Application Forms. Any form submitted without adhering to the guidelines and rules outlined in the JAMB brochure will not be processed by the Board.
2. A candidate must achieve an acceptable level of performance on the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in subjects IMPORTANT to the selected program of study in order to be offered admission into 100 level of the chosen Program in any of the Institutions.
3. The tables in the JAMB Brochure list the UTME subjects that are required for each Program. Please be aware that "Use of English" is a requirement for all programs, so it has been removed from the tables to avoid duplication.
General JAMB Requirements
1. Candidates must take the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and get a good score in the Use of English (which is required) and three other subjects needed for the suggested course of study, as described in the relevant chapters of this brochure.
2. In addition to getting a good number on the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, a candidate must also have one of the following qualifications:

National Examinations Council (NECO)/West African Examinations Council (WAEC) Senior School Certificate (SSC) or the Senior School Certificate/General Certificate of Education (SSC/GCE) or equivalents with credit passes in five (5) subjects, including English and Math, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings unless otherwise stated.
4. A Grade II Teachers' Certificate (TC II) with credit or merit passes in at least five (5) courses.
PLEASE NOTE THAT TCII IS NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR SOME PROGRAMS IN SOME UNIVERSITIES.
5. National Technical Certificate (NTC), National Business Certificate (NBC), with credit passes in five (5) courses, including English and math, in no more than two (2) sittings. The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) gives out the NTC/NBC.
6. All Science and Social Science programs, unless otherwise stated, require a credit pass in mathematics.
7. All programs demand that you get a credit pass in English Language unless it says otherwise.
8. Please keep in mind that a student who is already enrolled in a university cannot take the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) unless they are moving from a university abroad.
