Research
One of the top research universities in the world, UBC consistently rates highly.
Due to our extensive global connections, we draw researchers of the greatest caliber and get about $600 million in yearly research funding.
Career
We have a significant task to complete as one of the best universities in the world: we are improving the state of the planet. It indicates that there are a wide variety of professional choices at UBC; they are not your conventional 9-to-5 jobs. With such diversity, our people must also be distinctive. It's not a cookie-cutter setting where the average works. It needs individuals with passion, endurance, vision, and a spark.
2021 International Student Satisfaction Awards
Via the Global Student Satisfaction Awards, students from all across the world can choose the top colleges for 2021. Badges of Excellence are given to universities that obtain a rating of at least 4.0 (out of 5) in any of the eight award categories. Congratulations!

College life
The two main campuses of UBC are located in the Okanagan Valley cities of Kelowna and Vancouver. The UBC Learning Exchange, a program for community participation, is centered in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside, while the UBC Centre for Digital Media is housed at the Great Northern Way Campus, which is in Mount Pleasant. All of these educational institutions are located in Vancouver. In addition, UBC offers clinical instruction to students in the Faculty of Medicine at more than 80 training facilities located around British Columbia. Moreover, UBC's Asia Pacific Regional Office in Hong Kong and Liaison Office in New Delhi, India, enhance alumni engagement while facilitating teaching and research collaborations.
sporting events
Join the rich legacy of athletic passion that has been a cornerstone of UBC's character since the university first opened its doors by jumping, diving, running, or leaping into Varsity sports at UBC. Varsity sports can be played or watched at any of the seven Varsity facilities on the Vancouver campus or the three on the Okanagan site, including the brand-new Hangar Fitness and Wellness center, thanks to the UBC Thunderbirds and the Okanagan's Heat programs.
College clubs
Both undergraduate student groups and student associations exist at UBC. These are organizations formed by students who want to link other people to their professors.
Accreditation
The Council on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Education (CACME) has fully certified the Division of Continued Professional Development (CPD) at the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine to grant credits to medical professionals.
