Admission Requirements for all Science Courses


1. You must have five O'level credits in a maximum of two sittings, including Mathematics, English, and Chemistry. Biology, physics, agricultural science, and geography could be the remaining two subjects. However, for most science courses, Physics and Biology are essential.
2. Depending on the degree you want to pursue, JAMB subject combinations for science courses include English, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, or Mathematics.
3. Candidates seeking admission via direct entry must have at least Upper Credit in a science-related subject. In addition, if you want to utilise your Cambridge A level results, you must have a BBB in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics (three of these subjects are required depending on the topic you want to study).
4. If you wish to study in Nigeria, you must write the UTME and obtain a score higher than the JAMB cut-off mark necessary by your preferred university.
5. For those who desire to study science in Nigeria, you will additionally take the Post-UTME and score above 55%.
