MSME Survival Fund
Since 2017, when the National MSME Clinics were set up by the office of Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the government of President Muhammadu Buhari has been keeping an eye on, promoting, and helping the MSME space. An effort to get MSMEs and government bodies to work together to solve big problems facing MSMEs.
As a result of MSME Clinics, the government has learned about some of the biggest issues that MSMEs in the country face. Some of these problems are:

Because of some of these problems, the MSME One-Stop Shop and the Shared Facility Programmes were made.
With the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the government had to help micro and small businesses that were already suffering to pay their employees and protect jobs in the creative industry. The MSME Survival Fund was set up by the Economic Sustainability Committee to help small companies and people who work for themselves in the MSME space.
Important to note
1. The program will save more than 1,700,000 jobs.
2. Over ₦64b disbursed
3. Special attention will be paid to the 45% of MSMEs that are owned by women and the 5% that are owned by people with special needs. Grants will be given to self-employed people, especially service providers like bus drivers, taxi drivers, ride-share drivers, and artists like electricians and plumbers.
