NECO BECE Registration Form For JSS3 2023/2024 

The Junior WAEC NECO BECE Registration form for 2022–2023 has begun. Before logging in, schools (centers) must register their applicants using the offline application. The examination and all associated costs are subject to the following approved fees:

1. The 2023 BECE registration cost is N8,700.00 per candidate.

2. N12,500.00 is the unviable center charge

3. Each syllabus costs N1,500.00.

4. Each candidate who registers late will pay an additional N2,000.00 in penalties.

5. The BECE Re-sit registration cost is N3,000.00 per topic and per candidate.

6. Take note that Remita, Service, and Stamp Duty fees are applicable.

Online and offline registration will be available for the BECE in 2022. Manual registration is no longer available for. Offline entries of the registration data for candidates have taken the place of manual entries.

Please take note that the Board has announced the BECE Timetable for the JSS3 Exam.

NECO BECE Registration Eligibility

The candidates must be in their third year of junior secondary school, or JSS 3, principals/commandants of schools are hereby advised. For the avoidance of doubt, only school-based applicants from Nigeria and abroad are eligible for the 2023 NECO BECE. The eligibility requirement shall be upheld to the best of their ability by school principals/commandants and state ministries of education.

How to Register for BECE (JSS 3)

1. The Council's website, www.neco.gov.ng, offers the option to download the offline registration application.

2. The NEC site should only be used to make payments. Registration quota is distributed in accordance with the amount paid into the NECO TSA following successful payment.

Data Uploading Process for Candidates

The following steps must be followed in order to upload candidate data online:

1. Make sure your computer is online.

2. Open the offline program.

3. Select "Payment and Upload" from the menu.

4. Select "Check Payment" from the menu.

5. Login using your administrator login information.

6. Choose and submit suitable candidates.

Registration Period and Closing Date

1. The enrollment period runs from January 2022 through April 2023.

2. On April 20, 2023, the website will be shut down at midnight.

3. May 2023 is the last day to send the printed payment receipt and the final validation list.

4. The BECE Resit registration period is from July to August 2023.

5. August 2023 is the anticipated date for the BECE Retest.

6. June 2023 is the final day for CA3 online uploads.

7. Beginning in 2023, the exam will take place.
