In this piece, I'll show you a sample WAEC result, which is the original result and not a printout or statement. It's different from others because it has parts that aren't found on others.

Things to Know About the Original WAEC Result Sample

1. It says the year you took the exam.

Y2. Our birthdays

3. Sex

4. Your examination center

5. Your passport picture

6. Classes and Grade: These are the things you wrote about when you took the WASSCE or the GCE.

7. Number of the candidate

8. Number of the certificate

9. WAEC Logo 10. Image of the Nigeria coat of arms

11. Signature of the Council's President. 

12. Signature of the Council's Registrar.

13. The Registrar signs the letter to the Council

14. At the bottom, it says, "This certificate is invalid if the photo is changed, erased, or not there."

15. If you look at the back, you'll see the marks and an explanation of what they mean. And it says right on the award that only grades A1–E8 are shown.

The West African Examination Council always owns the award that is given out. It is given out under the following conditions:

1. On request, the certificate must be given to the West African Examination Council.

2. Keep the certificate in a safe place.

3. The West African Examinations Council will not make copies of the original certificate.

The WAEC statement of results, on the other hand, doesn't have all of these things. Only your name, exam number, topics, and grade will be shown. Most of the time, your secondary school's printout and statement of results aren't as good as the original WAEC results.
