The WAEC GCE result is out. It came out on April 1, 2023. The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the results of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private students in Nigeria in 2023.

Analysis of WAEC GCE Result Performance Rate

2,960 candidates (35.46%) received credit or higher in at least five courses, with or without English Language and/or Mathematics, according to an analysis of the candidate's performance on the form. Also, 2,003 applicants (23.9%) got a credit or higher in at least five classes, including English Language and Math.

About WAEC Private Candidates Examination

WASSCE for private candidates is an examination that is typically given in January or February for the first series and in August or September for the second series every year.

How to Check WAEC GCE Result

Your Smart Identity Card, which you used to take the test, has the result checker PIN and Serial Number you need to check your result online.

1. Go to www.waecdirect.org and log in to the WAEC site.

2. Type your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number in the space given.  (For example, 4123456789 is your 7-digit center number followed by your 3-digit candidate number.)

3. Type in the last four numbers of your exam year, such as 2022.

4. Choose the kind of test, such as PRIVATE CANDIDATE RESULT.

5. Type in the card's serial number, which can be found on the back of the card.

6. Type in your Scratch card's Personal Identification Number (PIN).

7. Click "Submit" and wait for the results.
