Npower News: FG gives fresh update on ’employment’ of N-Power beneficiaries
Trending Articles (..Npower news on permanence) being circulated on social media about the employment of N-Power beneficiaries into the Federal Civil Service (FCS) by President Muhammadu Buhari have been branded as "fake news" by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development.
The Ministry stated in a statement that any information about N-Power or its projects will be distributed to the public through "appropriate channels" and that it was signed by the Deputy Director of Information, Rhoda Ishaku Iliya, and made accessible to Blueprint in Abuja on Saturday.
The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development issued the following statement in response to false information that was trending on social media that claimed President Muhammadu Buhari would announce the induction of N-Power Volunteers Batch A into the Federal Civil Service on June 12.
"The Ministry hereby requests that the public discard the communication and reject it as false information. The relevant Federal Government channels will be used to release any information on N-Power or the National Social Investment Programme.
