1. Obtain the application form directly from the Passport office or download it from the IRCC website.

2. Correctly complete the application form and sign each page.

3. Include all necessary documents with the form, notably the two identical passport photos.

4. Obtain a guarantor and two references who can attest to your identity.
Anyone who has known you for at least two years may serve as your guarantor;

5. Must be a citizen of Canada and be older than 18;

6. Be in the passport of a current Canadian passport, or at the very least one that is not more than a year old.

7. Submit your application and all necessary fees to the relevant Passport office or portal.

8. Get your fresh passport.
