Study-In-Africa: 2023/2024 NRF-MINDS Scholarship for African Graduate Students

NRF-MINDS Postgraduate Scholarships are given to academically talented African students who come from poor families and want to study at some of the best universities on the continent.

Over a period of five years, MINDS will pay for and help 45 Honours and Master's scholars study at African universities outside of their home country. The NRF will pay for 50 Doctoral scholars from the rest of the continent who are studying at South African universities.

There are more scholarship possibilities in Europe, the United States, and Canada right now. Check out some of the chances listed below:

Summary of Scholarship:

The National Research Foundation (NRF) is the host.

Study Abroad: Go to Africa to learn

Postgraduate Scholarships, Masters's Scholarships, and Ph.D. Scholarships are all in this category. All African countries are eligible to apply.

Details of the scholarship:

The DSI and NRF are happy to announce a call for new applications for DSI-NRF Postgraduate Student Funding for the school year 2023.

All continuing students who are qualified for funding for a second or third year must submit a Progress Report, not a new application.

The scholarship program will assist postgraduate students in important areas for the continent, including African Heritage, Water-Energy-Food Nexus, Smart Economy, ICT, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, and Health. These students will directly help build a group of young leaders who want to play a key role in making Africa's economy more integrated and help it grow faster, which will have good effects on all of its countries.

Be a member of any African country other than South Africa and live there.

Be thirty-two (32) years old or younger on December 31 of the year you apply for the doctoral scholarship. Plan to start full-time doctoral studies at a public university in South Africa the following academic year after the year you apply.
