MYTOPSCHOOLS Fresh List Of Courses Offered In NDA (Nigerian Defence Academy Kaduna)

Fresh List Of Courses Offered In NDA (Nigerian Defence Academy Kaduna) has been searched by many people who want to study at the University, as well as people who are looking for things like nda courses and requirements, nda courses and subject combinations, nda postgraduate courses, nda course fees, nda courses and cut off mark, Nigerian defense academy courses, Nigeria defence academy form 2022, and medical courses in nda.

The Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA) in Kaduna is the first of Nigeria's two Military Universities. The other military university is the Nigerian Army University in Biu, Borno State. It opened in 2018, but it does not give military training. Army cadets spend 5 years at the Nigerian Defence Academy (4 years in school and 1 year in the army), while Navy and Air Force cadets spend 4 years there. After that, they go to the Nigerian Naval College, Onne, Port-Hacourt, and the 301 Flying Training School, Kaduna, for 1 year of training in their respective services.

The British ran the Royal Military Forces Training College (RMFTC), which was renamed the Nigerian Military Training College (NMTC) when Nigeria became independent. The NDA was set up in February 1964 as a reform of the RMFTC. Officers in the Nigerian Army, Navy, and Air Force are trained at the military school. Only 62 people were in the first class, and most of the trainers were leaders in the Indian Army. Only in 1978 did the NDA have a teaching staff made up of only Nigerians. In 1981, the training of foreign armies by both sides began. In 1985, the school started giving undergraduate programs to Military Officers in Training. It now gives M.S. and Ph.D. programs to both military and civilian students, as well as postgraduate programs for M.S.

The main goal is still to train young officer cadets in the 5-year (or 4-years for the Navy and Air Force) "Regular Combatant Course." In this course, cadets are trained in military, academic, and character development to teach them discipline and leadership skills that are in line with the best practices around the world. The course ends with a bachelor's degree and a presidential commissioning into the rank of second lieutenant for Army cadets, or the equivalent rank in the Navy and Air Before 2011, this course was mostly for guys. In September 2011, the first group of female cadets began training. As of 2019, there are about 2500 cadets in the class.
