The possibility of full-time hours exists for this part-time on-call role. Our facility is open around-the-clock, thus shift work and weekend labor are necessary. As they become available, full-time positions will be advertised and filled based on seniority.

How you will make contributions that matter…

• Take part in and learn through internal on-the-job training

• Manually assembling and packaging skids and picking orders while wearing a Vocollect Talkman headset

• Perform manual dairy case lifting, stacking, tugging, loading, and unloading (up to approx. 50lbs)

• Utilize a forklift to load and unload trailers of various sizes.

• When necessary, take part in the setup, breakdown, and cleanliness of all components and equipment.

• Using or being in close proximity to sanitizing agents (i.e. high concentrations of acids and alkalis)

• Carry out other tasks as directed

You are best suited for the role if you…

• Have the physical stamina necessary for prolonged standing and performing repetitive motions.

• able to regularly execute physically demanding duties and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Drive clamp trucks, counterbalance forklifts, and high-reach forklifts.

• Though it's not necessary, experience is preferred.

• Capable of working in a cold or temperate environment

• Have prior production or warehousing experience (asset but not required)

• You pick things up quickly and take accountability for your own efforts.

• Enjoy the teamwork and effective communication with coworkers

• Possess a Class 1 license (considered an asset)
