How to Check 2023 WAEC Result for May/June Exam 

All candidates who took the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in May/June, which was run by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), can now look up their results. Candidates can now check their WAEC scores for 2022 online or by text message.

WAEC says that 76.36% of students got at least five (5) credits in five (5) or more courses, including English Language and Mathematics (See: WAEC Result Statistics). Applicants whose results have been properly handled and made public will get their certificates in the next 90 days.

How to Check Online for WAEC Results

You don't have to buy a scratch card or pin in order to get your answer. Check your Smart Identity Card to see what your PIN and Serial Number are for your Result Checker. 

How to Buy WAEC Result in Checker PIN

Each candidate's PIN and Serial Number for the result checker have already been given to them by the council. You can check your Result Checker PIN and Serial Number by looking at the Smart Identity Card you used during the test. 

But if you've used up all your checks or lost your PIN and serial number, you'll need to go to the WAEC Request Management System site to order a new PIN.

A WAEC result checker PIN will cost you N3,654.82. The Request Management System site is where candidates who want to buy the e-PIN/result checker can do so. Here's what you need to do to buy a WAEC result checker PIN:

Go to https://request.waec.ng/Home/PurchaseToken?servid=406 to use the WAEC Request Management System.

Your Transaction Reference Number will be made by itself.

Choose Request For Service from the list of choices under "Select a Request Type."

Choose Sale of WAEC Direct Result Checker from the list of choices under "Select a Request."

Now, put your Name, Phone Number, and Email Address in the sections that ask for them.

Lastly, click on "Proceed to Online Payment" to make a payment and get your WAEC result checker PIN.
